After months of Covid restrictions, NextWave Yachting jointly organised The Next Experience Boat Show with Lantau Yacht Club, which hosted Sunseeker’s first Manhattan 68 Pacific, a Sunseeker Predator 74 and displays by premium lifestyle brands.
The first day was an invitation-only VIP day, while the second day was open to the public, with pre-registration required. The event included a Sunseeker boat tour from Central Pier 9, while a Belassi Burrasca ‘marine hypercraft’ and other toys from the dealer’s portfolio were also on show at Lantau Yacht Club.
The venue included displays, booths, experiences and workshops by iconic luxury British sports car Aston Martin, Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Vacheron Constantin, Bowmore Whiskey, Bollinger Champagne, wireless connectivity solution SailaWave and private jet charterer L’voyage, which operated a flight simulator.
Ivan Lee, Vice President of Lantau Yacht Club, said: “As the newest marina in Hong Kong, LYC is the perfect venue for boat shows and exclusive events for luxury labels. Several industry partners have organised successful events here.
“With an increasing number of yachts berthing and more events, LYC is proud to gradually become a superyacht hub and yachting activity centre in Hong Kong. We look forward to more collaborations with members of the yachting industry to promote the yachting lifestyle to a wider audience so that the leisure boating community will continue to grow and thrive.”
NextWave’s Hong Kong operations include an office in the Lantau Yacht Club Service Yard, a sales office in Club Marina Cove in Sai Kung, an administration office in Kwai Fong, and a Kwun Tong service facility in Kowloon Bay.
