Sanlorenzo has launched its first 44Alloy, its new 44.5m fast displacement superyacht featuring an aluminium hull and superstructure. Sanlorenzo recently returned to full operation and has entered the most intense period of the year, with a crowded calendar of launches.
Five 44Alloys are sold and under construction at the Italian builder’s Superyacht Division in La Spezia, with two sales secured by Simpson Marine, Sanlorenzo’s partner in Asia.
Bernardo Zuccon and Sanlorenzo designed the four-deck, 470GRT superyacht, with Florentine architect Michele Bonan designing the interior of the first unit. The first unit sold to Asia is scheduled for delivery to Singapore later this year.
The 44Alloy’s standout features including the 145sqm owner’s cabin, which spans three levels and has indoor and outdoor areas, “a solution never seen before on a yacht of this size”, according to the shipyard.
The successor of the 40Alloy, which sold 10 units, the 44Alloy also features a large beach club that opens on three sides and a multi-functional foredeck.
