Sanlorenzo will showcase the semi-displacement SD90/s and the SP110 open coupé in September. The SD90/s is the new entry-level model of the builder’s revamped SD line of semi-displacement shuttles and the series’ third model following the SD96 and SD118.
With a hull length of less than 24m and an overall length of almost 28m, the yacht features exterior lines by Zuccon International Project and interior design by Patricia Urquiola, while Philippe Briand was also involved in research.
The SD90/s offers green tech due to research and use of materials from alternative sources and a ‘sustainable hybrid’ propulsion system designed in collaboration with Siemens. The yacht cruises between 6-10 knots with hybrid propulsion and has a top speed of 17 knots with traditional propulsion.
The new SP110 model is the first in the yard’s new line of ‘Smart Performance’ sports yachts and features input by Bernardo Zuccon for the exteriors, Tilli Antonelli at Sanlorenzo product development, Marco Arnaboldi for the hull design and Piero Lissoni for the interiors.
Featuring an overall length of 33m and a beam of over 8m, the SP110 uses a fractional propulsion system consisting of three engines. Depending on the conditions and the owner’s needs, the boat can move using just one engine, a pair or all three, allowing great flexibility and reducing consumption.
