Lürssen has revealed photos of the successful launch and unveiling of the 122m project JAG, which entered the water in the traditional fashion – down the slipway. It proved a dramatic occasion for all involved including those on board and workers watching close by.

JAG is the third Lürssen for an experienced repeat client, who’s upgrading from a 96m build. The new build is being supervised by Moran Yacht & Ship, who have a long-standing relationship with the client and have been involved with all three Lürssen superyachts, as has long-time captain Kyle Fultz.

Italian studio Nuvolari Lenard designed the sleek, elegant exterior of JAG, which has an overall length of 122m (400ft) including bow sprit and a beam of 17.8m (58ft), and boasts extraordinary volumes in order to accommodate all the owner’s requirements.

The interior is by UK-based firm Reymond Langton and is “a beautiful, bespoke homage to the owner’s lifestyle when on board his yacht”, according to Lürssen.
