Imperial has announced the sale of an in-build Amels 242, which is scheduled for a 2022 delivery and is currently being outfitted at the Amels and Damen Yachting shipyard in the Netherlands.

Named Amels 24207, the megayacht is the seventh hull of the Amels 242 Limited Editions model and marks the 10th collaboration between the Dutch builder and the Monaco-based brokerage since 2008.

The 242ft (74m) vessel will include a wide array of custom features specified by the owner, represented by Imperial during the whole building stage. Brit Tim Heywood designed her modern exterior lines while UK-based Winch Design will create a unique interior.

The Amels Limited Editions range of superyachts offers a proven technical platform with custom interiors and 40 hulls of varying sizes have been delivered since 2005. The innovative business model of upfront investment in engineering and construction balances full custom and semi-custom, and reduces delivery time from several years to as little as a few months.
