Fairline Yachts has appointed Simpson Marine as its dealer throughout China. Simpson Marine started representing Fairline in 2018, in both Hong Kong and the Philippines. In early 2020, Fairline increased the dealer’s territory to also include Taiwan and seven Southeast Asian countries – Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar.
Now, Simpson Marine is also representing Fairline throughout mainland China, where Asia’s largest yacht dealer has offices in Shenzhen (Guangdong), Sanya (Hainan) and now Shanghai, where a Fairline Targa 45 GT was recently delivered to a client. The Fairline activity within the three offices will collectively be known as Fairline China.
Paul Grys, Fairline’s CEO, said: “Extending Simpson Marine’s representation of Fairline is the next natural step in our ongoing relationship. The business is well established in the region and has a proven track record of delivering our yachts to their customers. Our two brands align perfectly with our shared core values and high standards, and we look forward to seeing the partnership continue to flourish and our brand thrive across this region.”
Richard Allen, Group General Manager at Simpson Marine, said: “We are very excited about this new development with Fairline. This market segment is very active and Fairline is perfectly positioned to appeal to its growing number of customers. Fairline is always well received here, particularly for its high-quality yachts across the 40-70ft range. With multiple options and configurations, with Fairline we can ensure we can deliver the perfect yacht for every client.”
Simpson Marine is scheduled to receive a unit of the newly restyled flagship Squadron 68 in Hong Kong in March. The dealer represents multiple yacht builders and recently announced the delivery of a company-record 135 new and pre-owned yachts in 2021.
