Princess Yachts has revealed its new F55 featuring enriched upholstery and timber finishes, inlaid polished stainless steel and the latest Princess styling. Designed by the Princess Design Studio in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski, the 17.6m motor yacht has a deep-V resin-infused hull ensuring solid seakeeping and reaches up to 33 knots with twin Volvo D13-900 engines.
The upgraded model features a new hull window graphic and additional canopy styling blade, and is available with optional paint contrast to provide a sporty aesthetic also seen on the builder’s new V50 and V55.
The F55 has an optional hydraulic bathing platform, new-style transom gates and a cockpit with a sociable C-shaped dining area and a servery unit that connects to the galley unit. The saloon has large windows, subtle accent lighting, soft fabric finishes and hand-stitched detailing, while furniture includes a C-shaped sofa with convertible coffee/dining table and an adjacent sofa.
Below deck, expanded hull windows increase natural light in three guest cabins comprising a master with dressing table, breakfast area and en-suite bathroom, a forward double and a starboard twin with the option of a double bed conversion. There’s also the option of an aft single cabin with en-suite and storage, suitable for crew.
Four timber options are available, while off-white, pale grey and taupe line-out materials provide a neutral background and complement all wood selections. Premium technology includes Naim audio systems throughout plus the option of a new Garmin On-Deck smart boat system for remote monitoring of selected on-board systems via a smartphone app.
