Erwin Bamps, Brand Director of Prestige, was among VIP guests at the Prestige Owners’ Day in Hong Kong, which was organised by regional dealer Asia Yachting and held at Lantau Yacht Club.
Tanguy Tertrais, Prestige’s Sales Director for Asia-Pacific, also attended the one-day event, which attracted nearly 50 people and four Prestige yachts comprising the flagship X70 as well as 680, 590 and 520 models from the French builder’s hugely popular F-line of flybridge motor yachts.
Despite less-than-friendly weather, wellness and fun were among themes for the day in line with the brand’s focus on ‘Savouring art de vivre’, the art of living.
Prestige yacht owners and their families and friends embraced a lively event indoors and outside, starting with an elegant lunch and a selection of fine wines accompanied by live music. Massages, yoga and children’s activities were among the afternoon’s entertainment.
Prestige and Asia Yachting also made presentations of the brand’s range of models, which now include the M-Line of multihull motor yachts led by the upcoming flagship M8.
Bamps, the subject of a Leader interview in YACHT STYLE Issue 70, said: “It has been too long since I’ve come to Hong Kong. I was very excited to meet all the owners and discuss with them some of our exciting ongoing projects, which include the newest addition to our multihull line, the M8. As multihulls are becoming more popular in Asia, owners are very curious about this 65ft power catamaran.”
Olivier Besson, the founder and CEO of Asia Yachting, also highlighted upcoming arrivals in Asia, which include an M48 and a special Swarovski edition of the Prestige 690, the flagship of the F-Line.
“Asia Yachting and Prestige created this event together to show our appreciation to our clients. We’re happy that we’ve successfully let our owners know the meaning of l’art de vivre, the art of living,” said Besson, who founded Asia Yachting in 2007.
“We’re also thrilled to see so many owners expressing their interest in the Prestige 690 Swarovski Edition. It’s a great chance for them to make a luxurious and sparkly upgrade in 2023 without having to wait.”
