Gulf Craft is close to launching the Majesty 62 Maldives, which features the hull of the original model but a new superstructure with a vertical windshield and a new flybridge containing the yacht’s only helm station. The first hull is scheduled to be completed in August and is available.
The Majesty 62 Maldives has been designed with the Maldives and tropical Southeast Asian markets in mind, featuring superior air-conditioning for tropical climates, states Farfalla Marine, Gulf Craft’s dealer in Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
Like the Majesty 62, the Maldives version has an overall length of 61ft 7in and a beam of 16ft 4in. Whereas the original Majesty 62 has helm stations on the main deck and flybridge, the Maldives version only has one, on the flybridge, which has a hardtop and removable soft enclosure for wet weather.
This increases space on the main deck, which features a split-level indoor area, starting with a galley and L-shaped sofa aft. The higher level is up two steps and features facing L-shaped sofas and a large TV forward, with stairs to port.
There’s another lounge on the lower deck, which features the en-suite master cabin midships with the en-suite bathroom to port. The VIP is in the bow and has en-suite access to the day head.
Aft are spacious, self-contained quarters for two crew members, with direct access to the engine room.
The aft cockpit offers alfresco dining, while the foredeck has a sofa and sunpads. The flybridge has two separate lounging areas with C-shaped sofas aft and port. To starboard is a wet bar aft of a bench seat helm station, while forward are full-width sunpads.
All new yachts delivered through Farfalla Marine include a full 12-month management package, advanced crew training and AGlaze marine sealant protection as standard. In Hong Kong, the dealer is offering a package including a three-year membership at Lantau Yacht Club in Hong Kong, while the Thailand package includes 12 months of mooring at Phuket Boat Lagoon.
Gulf Craft produces over 200 boats a year and this year its first-quarter turnover bettered that period for the previous three years. The builder’s popular superyachts include the Majesty 100, with the 10th hull recently delivered.
