The world premiere of the ILIAD 62 will be held at this year’s Sydney International Boat Show from July 28-August 1, with the hull currently available for sale. The yacht has an overall length of 62ft 2in (18.95m), a beam of 26ft 10in (8.2m) and a bridgedeck height of 3ft 9in (1.15m) at half load, plus one of the longest ranges in her class at more than 3,500nm with a fuel capacity of 6,100 litres.
The ILIAD 62 allows for either traditional davits fitted to her transom or a transom-lift platform for launching the tender and use as a dive platform. An optional flybridge-mounted crane can also be fitted to lift. Safety is prioritised with clutter-free decks, wide walkways and a full composite-built stairwell with ergonomic handrails to the flybridge.
Outdoor areas include a flybridge that can be open or fully enclosed, seats 10 and features a galley with refrigeration, barbecue, separate bar fridge, ice maker and more. The foredeck offers lounging space on the adjustable sunpads, while owners can dine alfresco in the large aft cockpit, which has easy access to the galley and saloon.
The brand’s ‘Power of Choice’ allows owners to express their individuality with the flexibility to choose their preferred layout, finishes and options at a price “that challenges most production power catamarans”, according to the shipyard.
Each guest cabin features oversized ensuites, plenty of natural light and complete privacy. For extended passage voyagers, the owner’s hull can also incorporate a dedicated laundry, workshop, office and even separate crew quarters with separate bow access.
The first ILIAD 62 will be displayed in Sydney by Multihull Solutions, which will also exhibit an ILIAD 50, Fountaine Pajot Isla 40 sailing catamaran and Fountaine Pajot MY5 power catamaran.
