Multihull Solutions is confident of selling multiple units of the Neel 43 following the Asia-Pacific premiere of the trimaran at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, where the regional dealer also displayed a Fountaine Pajot Elba 45 sailing cat and MY5 powercat, and an Iliad 50 powercat.
Despite rain affecting the annual event, Multihull Solutions said it “expects to finalise orders on an impressive number of models” including two Neel 43 trimarans and a Neel 51 plus several models by Fountaine Pajot – two Isla 40s and Elba 45s, an Astréa 42 and Aura 51, and two powercats.
The company also signed contracts for an ILIAD 50 and an ILIAD 62 by the Australian-owned powercat builder.
Greg Boller, Multihull Solutions’ New Yacht Sales Manager, said: “Despite the consistent rain, we had a constant stream of visitors at our stand, which reflects the ever-increasing demand for multihulls and the strong reputation of the brands we represent. Our team is still finalising numerous orders from the show, and there are no indications of this extraordinary demand for our power and sail multihulls waning any time soon.”
Multihull Solutions also sold several pre-owned boats at its Gold Coast Sales Centre as buyers took the opportunity to secure multihulls on-site rather than wait for a new boat, with some order lists stretching out to 2024.
Meanwhile, the ILIAD 62 is set to debut at the Sydney International Boat Show from July 28-August 1, while the ILIAD 53S will premiere at the 2023 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. The ILIAD 74 is the brand’s flagship.
