Dealer Tam Son Yachting hosted the Vietnam premiere of the Lagoon Seventy 8, the French catamaran builder’s flagship powercat. Over 40 guests and media attended the yacht’s maiden voyage on the Saigon River while a Lagoon 46 also cruised alongside.
“With the strong support of our local network, Lagoon is confident at the vitality of the emerging Southeast Asian markets, where yachting culture is gradually being established and yachting lifestyle embraced,” Lagoon Asia-Pacific stated.
Over 24m in length, the Seventy 8’s outdoor areas include a large, fully customisable flybridge, a solid foredeck and an aft cockpit. Inside, the spacious saloon features excellent headroom and is lit by expansive windows.
Below decks, accommodation options range up to five guest cabins. The owner’s suite has private access and can be fitted with a private balcony.
Meanwhile, a Lagoon Seventy 8 is also on display at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in Australia from May 19-22, while a new Seventy 7 sail catamaran for Japan will arrive in Yokohama in July.
“Lagoon will continue to present its latest models to the yachting community in Asia-Pacific, working closely with our local dealers to build a stronger presence in the region,” Lagoon Asia-Pacific added.
