Gulf Craft has announced that the value of its order book in the first half of 2021 (January-June) is 42 per cent higher than its total order book throughout last year. The UAE builder secured 71 confirmed orders for its range of boats and superyachts in H1 2021, with 32 already delivered to customers from around the world including a Majesty 120 and Majesty 100.

Gulf Craft has appointed dealers in an additional 12 countries over the last six months led by a significant push into Europe, with distribution channels set up in key territories including Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, as well as regions of Australia. Gulf Craft’s dealers also include Farfalla Marine, which represents the brand in Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

The company’s production highlights this year include the unveiling of the 780GT Majesty 175, which is due to be handed over to her owner later this summer and will also be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show from September 24-27. The company also delivered the 10th hull of the Majesty 100, while the second and third hulls of the new Majesty 120 are in production.

Mohammed Alshaali, co-founder and Chairman of Gulf Craft, said: “We continued to build on an opportunity basis throughout 2020 which put us in a strong position in 2021 when we saw an increased demand, particularly for yachts ready for immediate delivery. We’ve recorded significant growth for all our five brands.”

As well as its main production facility in Ajman in the UAE, the company has a facility in the Maldives, where it plans to develop a new factory and double the size of its operations by the end of 2022. Earlier this year, Gulf Craft was awarded the contract with Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) to manufacture vessels for the Integrated National Public Ferry Network.

Gulf Craft has also partnered with P&O Marinas to open a dedicated Sales Center at Mina Rashid Marina in Dubai that will include a design studio and team of after-sales technicians.
