The Ferretti Group has launched the second unit of its Riva 88’ Folgore, five months after the launch of the first unit in May.
The second Riva 88’ Folgore has a dark hull
The second unit of the new Folgore – Italian for lightning – slipped into the water in Ferretti Group’s La Spezia shipyard, where it builds models in the 76-110ft range and which has recently been used to hold private boat shows for customers wanting to visit new models.
Measuring 88ft 4in (26.92m) in length, the Folgore has a beam of 6.31m (20ft 8in) and is another collaboration between Officina Italiana Design – which designs the entire Riva range – Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and its Engineering Department.
The Folgore, heir to one of the brand’s top-selling models, introduces novelties in the exterior and interior design, ergonomics and materials, combining them with iconic details from Riva’s legendary history like mahogany inlays and steel decorations.
