Fairline will unveil the 2021 edition of its F//Line 33 for the first time at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, which will be held from September 7-12. The British builder’s display will also include four Targa sports cruisers – a 45 Open, a 45 GT – a model recently sold into China by Simpson Marine – a 50 Open and the range’s flagship 65.
However, much of the attention will be focused on the new F//Line 33, a model designed by Fairline collaborator Alberto Mancini and first unveiled in Cannes in 2019, showing off a top speed of 48 knots with its upgraded engine options.
This year, the model has been redeveloped with a new cockpit layout, which provides both sunbathing and seating options simultaneously. The layout features C-shaped seating to the starboard side with the aft backrest doubling up as a headrest for the two-person sunbed. The cockpit will comfortably seat four to six people around a teak table.
There is also an optional cantilever pedestal, which stows the table behind the seat cushions when not in use. A wet bar to the port side includes a fitted sink and folding tap as standard and can be upgraded to include a fridge and electric griddle, with a drawer icemaker in the seat base opposite.
Other new options include a hard top, an electric hob and sink below deck and up to two 12-inch Garmin touchscreen displays at the more spacious helm.
Peter McNulty (Leader, Issue 56), CEO of Fairline, said: “We’re looking forward to showcasing this new-layout F//Line 33 at Cannes Yachting Festival this year. Having taken onboard feedback from customers to further improve upon this category-defining weekender, with this practical new layout we have answered every question asked of us while still retaining the F//Line’s exhilarating performance and award-winning pedigree. We can’t wait to hear what visitors to the stand think.”
