CRN expects to launch the 52m, all-aluminium M/Y 142 at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona in spring, having started the year with the launch of the 62m Rio in January. Both yachts feature an exterior by Dutch studio Omega Architects, headed by Frank Laupman.
The full-custom, four-deck M/Y 142 has a volume of 499GT, a 9m beam and five cabins for 10 guests, with Italian studio Massari Design handling the yacht’s interiors and outdoor guest areas.
CRN says the yacht “reflects the character of a knowledgeable owner with a passion for the sea, who specifically wanted comfortable spaces in the open air, setting great store by the design of the social zones”.
The beach club by the water allows guests to dive right in or enjoy watersports with the wide selection of toys. The space integrates with an open-air living area featuring a relaxation zone with TV and bar looking on to a wellness area with hammam and shower zone.
The main deck starts with an outdoor pool and lounge that lead forward into the interior. CRN has described the interior style as “elegant simplicity”, with warm, natural colours used in combination with premium materials like marble, leather and solid wood.
The main deck features a large saloon and dining area, mirrored surfaces and floor-to-ceiling glazing for open ocean views. The owner’s suite with private study is in the bow and benefits from full-length windows, while the four guest cabins are on the lower deck.
The upper deck has a skylounge that can be used as a social area or converted into a fully equipped cinema with giant screen.
Sliding doors open aft to a covered deck with a big dining table for 10 and sofas aft, with the area able to be sheltered from the wind by elegant glass panelling integrated into the superstructure.
The sun deck starts with an open aft area for sun loungers. The covered zone features a dining area, a spectacular horseshoe-shaped lounge bar and solarium, while the circular hydromassage pool forward is open to the elements.
