Rio was built at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona

CRN has announced that the 62m Rio has “passed her first set of sea trials with flying colours”, two months after her spectacular launch in Ancona in mid-January. A custom build in steel and aluminium, the 203-footer set out from the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona for a series of trials and functional tests overseen by CRN engineers and technicians as well as external specialists.

The 62m megayacht has a top speed of 15 knots

Rio was designed and built by CRN with design and architecture studio Omega Architects, who created the exterior concept, and Pulina Exclusive Interiors for the styling inside. TWW Yachts represents the buyer, while TWW Yacht Management is providing technical consultancy, survey and project management supervision throughout the final stages of construction.

The 1,218GT megayacht has four decks and can accommodate up to 12 guests in the owner’s suite and one VIP suite on the main deck, plus a second VIP with three more guest cabins on the lower deck. The yacht is fitted with two Caterpillar 3512C engines and offers a top speed of 15 knots, with a cruising speed of 12 knots.
