Camper & Nicholsons has sold the first 24m Gentleman’s Yacht by Codecasa to an experienced yacht owner in Southeast Asia in 2023. The buyer is represented by Carmen Lau, a Senior Advisor for Camper & Nicholsons, whose New Build Division will supervise the 24-month construction of the all-aluminium build. Once delivered, she will mainly be based in Asia.
The hull is the first to a design by naval architect Luca Dini of Luca Dini Design and Architecture. The classic exterior lines are inspired by the elegance of yachts built in the 1950s and 1960s, with Dini revealing he drew inspiration from the boats of his childhood.
The yacht has a 6.5m beam and features a fold-down swim platform and a large sundeck connected to the internal living space by sliding glass doors. The tender is a small-scale version of the Gentleman’s Yacht and is stored on the aft main deck, which can be dressed with furniture once clear. Lower-deck accommodation comprises an owner’s suite, three guest cabins and two crew cabins.
Fulvio Codecasa, Chairman of Codecasa Shipyards, said: “We would like to express our congratulations to Camper & Nicholsons for the sale of this yacht.
“This deal represents for us the achievement of a triple target: the confirmation of the excellent relationship we have with Camper & Nicholsons worldwide, hopefully the beginning of a long-lasting co-operation with Luca Dini Design, one of the most important names in the industry, and a strengthening of the Codecasa brand presence in the Asian market.”
