The Azimut Grande Trideck can reach 24 knots with twin 2600mhp engines

Azimut Yachts is on course for an early 2021 delivery of its first Grande Trideck, which has a length of 38.5m (125ft 4in) and a beam of 7.9m (25ft 11in), and is the largest yacht ever built by the yard.

Alberto Mancini designed the exterior following his work on the Grande S10, which followed Stefano Righini designs for the 25, 27, 30, 32 and 35 Metri models in the brand’s superyacht collection. Achille Salvagni designed the interior, having worked on all other current Grande models apart from the S10.

Pierluigi Ausonio Naval Architecture (PLANA) handled water lines and worked with the Azimut Research and Development centre to design the displacement-to-planing (D2P®) hull.

The raised aft cockpit shelters the beach club and provides privacy for the private patio forward

Notable features include an extended, raised aft cockpit, which is set slightly above the main deck and can receive guests from the central gangway. The cockpit offers spectacular views and leads forward and down a few steps to a ‘private patio’ before the saloon, which is focused on social areas and doesn’t feature a formal dining area. The main deck also houses the kitchen and owner’s suite.

Outdoor areas include the full-height beach club on the lower deck, where the transom can open to expand the entire space to over 30sqm. Forward, a separate garage houses the tender and water toys. The lower deck also features four guest cabins and four crew cabins.

The upper deck has outdoor areas fore and aft, where there’s a sheltered dining area. The deck also has a service galley, which can be substituted by an additional VIP cabin.

The Trideck offers four decks with large outdoor areas

The sun deck contains a forward bar and a custom spa tube surrounded by a sun pad and freestanding furniture. Forward is a slanted windshield that finishes in a vertical windbreaker.

The entire superstructure is laminated in carbon-fibre, with added vinylester and epoxy resin, which reduces overall weight. The Trideck offers twin 2400mhp or 2600mhp engines that deliver a top speed of 23 or 24 knots and a cruising speed of 20 or 21 knots respectively.

Azimut is represented by Marine Italia in Hong Kong, Taiwan, southern China and Singapore.
