The Sanlorenzo fleet in Hong Kong has expanded as the city welcomed Asia’s first SD126, the flagship of the shipyard’s semi-displacement line. The 38m yacht was sold by Simpson Marine as Sanlorenzo Asia, which has represented the Italian builder in the region since 2015.
The first Sanlorenzo to arrive in Hong Kong this year, the yacht is also being managed by Simpson Marine, Asia’s largest yacht dealer, under its growing Yacht Management fleet in Hong Kong.
Featuring exterior design by Francesco Paszkowski and naval architecture by Sanlorenzo, the SD126 is a four-deck superyacht with a beam of 8m (26ft 3in) and a volume of 314GT. The yacht is powered by twin MTU engines, which give her a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 16 knots.
The tri-deck features interiors in assorted hues of grey, beige and brown, with stylish leather additions in cream and pistachio, while the exterior decks are furnished with Paola Lenti outdoor furniture.
The main deck includes the main saloon and a full-beam master suite forward, and there are four guest cabins on the lower deck. The upper deck includes an alfresco dining area on the large aft deck, an indoor lounge and the pilot house, while forward is an outdoor seating area.
The SD126 has joined a diverse fleet of Sanlorenzo yachts and superyachts based in Hong Kong including her smaller sister in the SD range, the SD96, which was delivered to the city last year. The SD range in Hong Kong is also set to grow following Sanlorenzo Asia’s sale of an SD118 soon after the model’s world premiere at last year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.
