Asiamarine is bringing in five more units for sale in Singapore

Asiamarine has already had to stock up since becoming the official dealer in Singapore for Lift, producer of the eFoil hydrofoil surfboards that are increasingly popular in parts of Asia. Lift was founded in Puerto Rico in 2010 and is best known for creating the eFoil, an electric hydrofoil surfboard now in its third generation and marketed as ‘the world’s smallest personal watercraft’.

Asiamarine has already sold three units of the second-generation Lift2 eFoil and has one as a demo unit available for sea trials. The dealer has since ordered five stock units of the new Lift3, scheduled to arrive in late June.

Lift co-founder Nick Leason – an engineer and avid surfer – developed the original eFoil, applying the technology from smart phones, electric vehicles and drones into a board that lets its rider glide above water without needing to be propelled by wind or waves.

The most recent model allows for up to 2hrs of riding

Controlled by a wireless Bluetooth hand remote, the eFoil uses an advanced lithium-ion battery to power a silent electric motor that’s mounted on an all-carbon-fibre hydrofoil, emitting no emissions or noise. The Lift2 offers speeds of up to 25mph and lasts for over 60 minutes on a two-hour charge, while the Lift3 can reach up to 30mph and allows for up to 120 minutes of riding.
