Five years after their initial partnership, Hong Kong-headquartered Asiamarine is now fully integrating Thailand-based Asia Marine within its group. Asiamarine was founded by Eric Noyel in 2013 and has offices in Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and the Philippines; Asia Marine (Thailand) will adopt the Asiamarine brand identity across its offline and digital activities.

Vincent Tabuteau founded Asia Marine in 1989 and, during a transitional period, will oversee activities in Thailand, where his son Benjamin is now General Manager of Asiamarine (Thailand).

“I started the company when the yachting industry in Phuket was focused on traditional sailing boats. We have been leaders in yacht charter from wooden ‘junks’ to bare boat fleets and fast motor yachts,” Vincent said.

“The yachting world has changed, and a new approach is needed to ride the next wave. I am glad to work with our trusted partner Eric Noyel and my son Benjamin on this evolution of the company to execute this vision of a wider and more sales driven strategy.”

Asiamarine’s portfolio for new sales includes Galeon motor yachts, Bali Catamarans, Swedish builder Nimbus, Tigé wake surf boats and Wellcraft fishing boats. It also represents Fraser, one of the world’s leading global superyacht brokerage houses.

Asiamarine and Fraser Thailand have offices in Phuket Boat Lagoon and Yacht Haven, where Operations Manager Adam Taylor will run the company’s service and charter base. A new office at Ocean Marina Yacht Club in Pattaya will strengthen the company’s presence in Bangkok and areas.

Benjamin, who was born in Phuket, said: “We will continue to offer quality services for yachts of all sizes including our bare boat fleet, day trips and overnight charter yachts, brokerage and yacht management activities, as well as representing Fraser superyacht services.”

Noyel, CEO of Asiamarine, said: “A clear focus is given on dealership and brokerage sales, building on the solid foundations which made the reputation of reliability and technical prowess of the company as a charter, repair and yacht management specialist.”

Since 2018, Asiamarine has represented Fraser, which has over 200 personnel and 20 offices around the globe, while its services include yacht sales, charter, yacht management, crew and construction, specialising in yachts over 24m.
