The Pearl 72 will exhibit at Boot Düsseldorf 2023, where the new model will make its European debut at the world’s biggest indoor show from January 21-29.
Joining the Pearl 62, Pearl 80 and Pearl 95 in the British brand’s range of flybridge motor yachts, the Pearl 72 had its world premiere at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, where Managing Director Iain Smallridge confirmed the appointment of VP Yachts as the builder’s dealer in Hong Kong.
The Pearl 72’s distinguishing features include two master cabins. One is forward with a private entrance, as typically seen on much larger yachts, and the second is full-beam midships. In addition to providing a solution for co-owners who can enjoy the yacht together, the layout allows owners to enjoy nice views even when moored stern-to in a marina.
There are two more en-suite double cabins plus accommodation for the crew, in addition to a large garage with space for a Williams 345 tender and a jet-ski.
Bill Dixon of Dixon Yacht Design is again responsible for the exterior lines, having designed all the Pearl Yachts models. The boutique interior design is by Kelly Hoppen CBE, who offers a selection of three styles: Modern, Luxury and the new Indulgence option.
Smallridge said: “We’re proud to bring the Pearl 72 back to Europe for her debut on our side of the pond. Düsseldorf is a special stage in the yearly yachting event calendar, so it’s great timing for us to be presenting the new model.
“Furthering the new generation in the wake of the supremely popular Pearl 62, the younger, larger sistership Pearl 72 offers exceptional lifestyle features in a yacht with distinctively British design.”
On January 22, Pearl will host a formal announcement of the next model project, the Pearl 82, which is already in production.
