Azimut has announced growth of 47 per cent in three years in the Middle East, which now accounts for 25 per cent of the company’s sales. The Italian builder announced the figures ahead of its participation at this year’s Dubai International Boat Show at Dubai Harbour (March 9-13), where it will show five yachts in cooperation with Seas & Deserts, its Gulf dealer.
Azimut says its Grande Collection of superyachts is of particular appeal in the Middle East, with clients in the region accounting for more than half of the 15 sales of the Grande Trideck, the brand’s 38m flagship launched last year.
Enrico Chiaussa, Azimut Head of Sales for Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa, said: “We are extremely satisfied with our performance in the Middle East. It’s an important market with excellent growth prospect and opportunities for development, such as Saudi Arabia, for example, where we expect interesting results in the future.
“We have created an extremely robust and widespread network of professional and exceptionally high-level dealers, ensuring we offer our yacht owners outstanding, dedicated service.”
