Special charter offers in Phuket, Maldives

Simpson Yacht Charter is offering 20 per cent off all bareboat charters in Phuket that embark before the end of April. Available yachts include sailing catamarans like the Lagoon 40 K-35, with prices starting from €700 (about US$785) for a 24-hour charter for up to 10 guests.

Other sail cats include the Lagoon 42 models Cloud Dancer (from €850) and P&B (from €800), and the very popular five-cabin Lagoon 52 Blue Moon (from €1,600). The special rates cover airport pickup and drop off for up to 10 guests, as well as water toys including a minimum of one paddleboard, one kayak and 10 sets of snorkelling gear.

Unlimited 4G Wi-Fi, welcome packages and a Nespresso Lattissima Touch coffee machine are also included along with beach towels, bath, hand and face towels, and bed linen. Other standard items include air-conditioning, generator usage, yacht insurance and cleaning, plus all local taxes and VAT.

With a bareboat charter, guests can decide their own itinerary, although the Simpson Yacht Charter team is available to discuss and advise on the best cruising areas based on preferences.

HL33 operates dive packages in the Maldives

Meanwhile, the company is also promoting packages on the 109ft tri-deck HL33 in the Maldives, the popular Indian Ocean tourist destination that has remained accessible to visitors and tourists. SYC is offering a discounted 24-hour charter rate of €5,500 (including all taxes) based on two sharing and including diving plus return transfers from the international airport.

The special charter rate includes a twin or double cabin and full-board including breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon snack and unlimited tea and coffee. Perks include a barbecue on a desert island and visits to uninhabited islands and/or sandbank depending on the weather and itinerary.

The package also covers an experienced English-speaking PADI dive instructor and two local dive guides on board, two-three dives per day as well as one night dive per week for certified divers. Fishing gear is also included on HL33, which was designed and built in the Maldives.
