Imperial has sold the third hull of the Amels 60 Limited Editions, an occasion marked by the official signing of the 197-footer on the first day of the Monaco Yacht Show, with delivery scheduled for 2023.
Imperial acted as the owner’s representative throughout the sales process and will act as construction supervisor on the 12th collaboration between the Monaco-based brokerage and Amels and Damen Yachting since 2007.
Julia Stewart, Director of Imperial, said: “Imperial and Amels have enjoyed a long term and successful cooperation over the past decade. We have several projects under construction and are delighted to build this new iconic yacht together. Espen Øino will of course add great value to the project and reflects our joint commitment to delivering an outstanding yacht to the owner.”
Damen Yachting handled naval architecture of the 60m, 830GT megayacht, which features hybrid power and propulsion technology, an exterior by Espen Øino and a custom interior by Andrew Winch of Winch Design.
Features include a large sun deck that spans nearly half the length of the boat, a large swim platform and folding owner’s suite balcony, while a 9m tender can be stowed on the foredeck.
Rob Luijendijk, Damen Yachting’s Sales Director, added: “The sale of the Amels 60/03 not only further strengthens the strong market reception to this new Amels Limited Editions design but is also a testament to the longstanding relationship we have Imperial. We are delighted to be working with the team at Imperial on another new build.”
The yacht has accommodation for 12 guests and 12 crew plus captain. Four units of the Amels 60 have been sold to date.
