MarineMax, the biggest yacht dealer in the US, has announced that hull five of the Azimut Grande Trideck has been sold to an experienced yachtsman from Houston, Texas. Azimut is currently completing the first hull of the 38.2m build, the Italian builder’s biggest-ever yacht, which tops a Grande range also featuring 25, 27, 30, 32 and 35 Metri models.
The 125ft Azimut Grande Trideck has a beam of 26ft. The US-specified build has accommodation for 10 guests and six crew, and will be ready in spring 2022. She will be delivered to the Bahamas, where the client will use her and the yacht will be available for charter through Fraser, owned by MarineMax.
Mike Doyle, a Senior Broker at MarineMax Pompano Yacht Center, has a relationship with the Texas-based buyer from previous yacht sales and services. Doyle partnered with Bob Fritsky (MarineMax Vice President of Sales), Federico Ferrante (President of Azimut-Benetti Americas) and Andrew Schneider (MarineMax Azimut Brand Manager) to conclude the sale.
Fritsky said: “The client considered new and brokerage yachts between 115-130ft. He eventually determined that only a new build would reach all his yachting objectives and guard his substantial investment.
“He chose the new Azimut Grande Trideck because of its design-forward aesthetics, innovative use of space and high-style interior. The client appreciated the dedicated beach club, massive sundeck, the bow dipping pool and seating, and side garage for tender and personal watercraft.”
