The first 90 Ocean recently came out of the shed in Poole

Sunseeker International has announced that it will launch its five upcoming models – Predator 55 EVO™, Manhattan 55, 65 Sport Yacht, 88 Yacht and 90 Ocean – in January 2021. Andrea Frabetti, Sunseeker’s CEO, said: “This is a world first for Sunseeker and we are delighted to bring not one but five new models to the market at the same time. Each of these innovative yachts, from the dynamic Predator 55 EVO™ to the industry-defining 90 Ocean, exudes luxury and panache while benefitting from the very latest technology, engineering and design excellence.

The widebody 90 Ocean has 20 per cent more volume than its predecessor

“We have pushed the boundaries to deliver novel solutions, innovating at every opportunity. These new models are imbued with Sunseeker style and passion, poured lovingly into every yacht from conception to build. We are incredibly proud of all of them and believe, given their incredible designs, they will yet again define their respective segments.”

The new models will be the first to market since the British builder announced a GBP38 million (about US$50 million) investment to accelerate its new product development between 2020 and 2023.

Sunseeker’s new X-TEND™ seating can be used in the beach club or raised to face the cockpit

The 90 Ocean marks a new design concept for Sunseeker, along with the 42M Ocean and 50M Ocean in the Superyacht range. Although part of the Yacht range from 76-100ft, the model’s volume is 20 per cent larger than its predecessor (86 Yacht) due to her 23ft 6in beam and upright bow, which allows more interior volume forward.

The 90 Ocean’s other new features include Sunseeker’s own X-TEND™ seating, which can be used in the cockpit or the enormous 24sqm beach club, while there’s plentiful storage for a 4.6m JetRib, a jetski and two Seabobs in dedicated lockers. The flybridge is 25 per cent larger than a comparable yacht, according to Sunseeker, while options include an infinity spa pool and sideboard with barbecue.

The 88 Yacht offers accommodation for eight guests and four crew

The 88 Yacht is more comparable to other models in the Yacht range and can reach 30 knots. Options include an infinity spa bath on the flybridge and X-TEND™ sunbeds that can be used in the beach club or raised to face the cockpit. The yacht offers an optional hardtop with central opening canopy in either canvas or tilting aluminium vanes, while there’s accommodation for eight guests and four crew.

The 65 Sport Yacht offers Sky Lounge or Sky Helm options in its sport bridge

Joining the 74 Sport Yacht in the range, the 65 Sport Yacht features a minimalist, modular sport bridge that can be specified as a standard ‘Sky Lounge’ with comfortable chaise longue and companion seating, or a revolutionary ‘Sky Helm’ featuring twin bolstered pivoting seats set very low either side of a central console. The design includes a revolutionary steering arm that can be raised forward to ease ingress into the racing-cockpit design or locked in its elevated position for manoeuvring while standing.

The yacht offers the option of three guest cabins with ensuite bathrooms, while other lower-deck layouts include a lower saloon, additional single-berth cabin, mini-galley or an open-plan office within the master suite.

The Predator 55 EVO™ follows the 60 EVO™ launched in 2019

The smallest new models are the Manhattan 55 and the Predator 55 EVO™, which has a carbon fibre opening roof. Available with Volvo D11-725 shaft engines, the Predator 55 EVO™ reaches 34 knots and offers a Hydro-Pack, which utilises a fly-by-wire steering system. Inside, the dynamic feel continues with the new Predator range of interior fabrics and textures.

The Manhattan 55 succeeds the Manhattan 52, Sunseeker’s fastest-selling model

Succeeding the iconic Manhattan 52, the Manhattan 55 features an innovative powered glass cockpit/galley window that can be electronically lowered as well as a well-equipped bathing platform with Beach Club aft. The lower deck has three large cabins, with the master being particularly voluminous, and the yacht can reach 32 knots.
