YACHT STYLE has released Issue 73 (click to read/download), the annual edition focused on the year’s new models and world premieres, which are covered in a special feature. There’s also a special focus on the many boat shows in September and October, including previews of the Cannes Yachting Festival, Southampton International Boat Show, Genoa International Boat Show and Monaco Yacht Show.
Reviews includes Azimut’s Magellano 60 and the Prestige F4, both among world premieres at Cannes. Prestige is reworking its classic F-Line, with its all-new 50ft F4 paving the way for the French builder’s next generation of flybridge motor yachts, having introduced the X-Line and M-Line in recent years.
The new entry-level model for Azimut’s fast-growing navetta line, the Magellano 60 is set to debut in Asia in early 2024 following sales into Hong Kong and Taiwan by Marine Italia.
Reviews include other models with strong Asia connections. Now in Asia, the Ferretti Yachts 860 is another Salvetti-IdeaeItalia collaboration, with highlights including a large garage and cockpit plus a helical staircase and optional jacuzzi, both brand firsts.
Another new arrival in Asia, the Swift Trawler 48 is the upgraded flagship of Beneteau’s fast trawler-style series, with many changes inspired by the Grand Trawler 62, especially in the light, bright interior. Indonesia is the siren call for the first Maritimo M75 owner. A Kiwi, he wants to go surfing anywhere from Bali to the Mentawai Islands off Sumatra, and has bought a vessel capable of much more.
There’s also a Review of the Jeanneau Cap Camarat 10.5 CC. The largest Centre Console model in the family of Cap Camarat outboard cruisers, the 10.5 CC is ideal for families, fishing, partying and just all-round fun on the water.
Meanwhile, the Pearl 72 designed by Bill Dixon and Kelly Hoppen is making its Cannes show debut. Featuring four double en-suite guest cabins, a two-berth crew cabin plus a large garage for a tender and jet-ski, the Pearl 72 offers more than most in the 70ft sector.
CRN is profiled in History. The historical heart of the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, CRN is celebrating 60 years and over 400 yachts since Sanzio Nicolini founded Costruzioni e Riparazioni in 1963.
As profiled in Shipyard, Aquila Power Catamarans produces all its 28-70ft models at its ultra-modern, purpose-built facility in China, which helped it become the world’s largest powercat builder in its first decade.
Owner features Lal De Silva, the founder and director of LDS Lifestyles and the man behind the 37m Nala, currently for charter through Indonesia’s Yacht Sourcing and set to be followed by two more phinisis.
The first Sanlorenzo SL90 Asymmetric in Hong Kong is the subject of an eye-catching Lifestyle spread, while Events includes shows, collaborations, handovers, competitions, debuts and anniversaries abound in Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and Italy.
