Welcome to YACHT STYLE Issue 60, which features the magazine’s annual Charter in Asia feature as well as a strong sailing theme reflected in a huge Racing section and Reviews of three sailing brand-new sailing models.
YACHT STYLE’s annual special feature on charter in Asia starts by highlighting superyachts operating in countries across the region, before focusing on offerings in the yachting hubs of Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The issue also covers recent developments among marinas in Asia, from Hong Kong to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
The Racing section includes coverage of SailGP, Rolex Giraglia and a third successive preview of the upcoming Rolex Fastnet Race, which is set to feature the race debut of the newly launched ClubSwan 125 Skorpios.
In Asia, Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club continues to stage regattas year-round while there have also been some exciting new events including the first Beneteau Cup Hong Kong, which was a success on all fronts and looks set to become a fixture on the local racing calendar.
Reviews of seven models scheduled to exhibit at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival include the Sunseeker 88 Yacht, which will make its world premiere in Cannes Yachting Festival and will be among the brand’s ‘Famous Five’ models launched earlier this year.
The Azimut 53 Fly is also profiled, with the latter making her private Asia-Pacific debut in Hong Kong before she makes her world premiere in Cannes.
Reviews include the Riva 90’ Argo, whose popularity in Asia-Pacific is evidenced by two deliveries to Hong Kong and one to New Zealand, while another is headed for mainland China and the first hull in Australia will arrive next year.
The 60 Sunreef Power, which was launched late last year, is part of Sunseeker’s new range of powercats, with the first three hulls showing how each unit is customised for its owner.
Reviews also include three sailing boats launched or premiered this year. Brand new for 2021, the Jeanneau Yachts 60 offers Classic and Cruiser models along with a head-spinning range of interior layouts.
