A Gunmetal-coloured wallytender43 has been delivered to its owner to Singapore following a sale by Hong Seh Yachting, the exclusive local dealer for fellow Ferretti Group brands Ferretti Yachts, Riva and Pershing. The 13m runabout is the first new Wally to be sold into Southeast Asia.
The wallytender43 was launched in late 2020 and is the second new model from Wally since it became part of Ferretti Group, having followed the wallytender48 that debuted a year earlier. Built in Forlì, Italy, the wallytender43 is made from an advanced ultra-light composite with carbon-fibre for added durability, can carry 12 passengers and has a top speed of 40 knots.
Founded by Luca Bassani, now Chief Designer of the brand, Wally designed the 43-footer as an ‘all-rounder’, which can be converted and used as anything from a family day boat to a superyacht tender, resort shuttle or even a sailing yacht support vessel.
The model features a T-top carbon-fibre superstructure covered by a laminated sail, a feature inspired by Wally’s sailing heritage. The solution allows passengers sitting in the central cockpit to enjoy an open environment but also protects them from the sun and the elements even at high speeds.
The T-top is among an array of standard fixtures equipment including LED deck lighting, side-opening bulwark wings and Wally’s iconic wraparound fender system, while the yacht is available in a wide range of colours.
