Ferretti Group has announced the sale of the first wallytender43 in Hong Kong. The unit in Hong Kong is the second in Asia, following a delivery to Singapore earlier this year and was photographed in Victoria Harbour and around Sai Kung.
The smaller sister of the wallytender48 released in 2019, the wallytender43 debuted in late 2020 and has proven a popular model around the world.
Developed by Wally and Ferretti Group’s engineering department, the wallytender43 is built from advanced composites with carbon-fibre at Casa Wally, the new production site in Forlì, Italy.
User-friendly joystick controls simplify manoeuvring, while twin Volvo Penta diesel 380hp stern-drive engines provide a shallower draft for exploration in remote areas, with the option of 440hp engines powering the boat to over 40 knots.
Available in a variety of unique colours, the Category B runabout has the capacity to carry up to 12 people and its deck configurations can change to suit the different owner’s need.
The versatile 43-footer can be adapted as a family day boat, superyacht tender, resort shuttle and even a sailing yacht support vessel due to its ample deck space.
Drawing on Wally’s sailing heritage, the wallytender43 features laminated sail cloth across the carbon-fibre T-top, which allows plenty of natural light into the cockpit while protecting guests from the sun and reducing weight.
Stefano de Vivo, Managing Director of Wally and CCO of Ferretti Group, said: “Building on Wally’s iconic design heritage and innovation developed over nearly 30 years, our team has introduced a fresh new take in the middle part of the boat, creating the new ‘centre cockpit’ concept in a power boat.
“At the same time, we evolved our offering to satisfy the yacht owners of today and tomorrow by elevating the day-boat yachting standards, upholding Wally’s customary cool aesthetics and extraordinary performance.”
