Nautor Swan will kick off its presence at four September shows in Europe with the world premiere of the OverShadow motor yacht (click for article) at the Cannes Yachting Festival (September 12-17) and conclude with the Swan 108’s global debut at the Monaco Yacht Show (September 27-30).
As the inboard, gran turismo version of the 43ft Shadow, the OverShadow has been engineered for long-distance trips and features additional space below deck. Both Swan motor yachts are produced at ‘Casa Shadow’ in Italy in partnership with Oversea.
The first OverShadow is scheduled to launch in July before the model’s debut alongside the Shadow in Port Vieux, which hosts all motor yachts at the six-day Cannes show. Nautor will also present the Swan 55, Swan 58 and Swan 78 in Port Canto, the section of the show dedicated to sailing yachts.
In the UK, a Swan 58 will be on display at the Southampton International Boat Show (September 15-24), which slightly overlaps with the Cannes event.
As the Finnish builder celebrates 25 years of ownership by Italian businessman Leonardo Ferragamo, Nautor will have a strong presence at the 63rd Genoa International Boat Show (September 21-26), which will host the Italy debuts of the OverShadow and Swan 48MKII, which debuted at Boot Dusseldorf this year.
The Swan 48 MKII and Swan 55 will be on display on Banchina C, dedicated to sailing, while the OverShadow and Shadow motor yachts will be at Banchina E and available for sea trials.
The September events conclude with the superyacht-focused Monaco Yacht Show, which will host the world premiere of the Swan 108 (click for article), a model that represents a new era for the Swan Maxi line. The Swan 108 is a design collaboration between German Frers (naval architecture), Misa Poggi (interior design) and Lucio Micheletti of Micheletti + Partners (exterior styling).
