Boat Lagoon Yachting has announced company-record sales of nine Princess yachts in the first seven months of 2020. The regional dealer has represented the British builder since 1994 and is the official distributor in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as the Maldives.
New models sold include the F62 and F70 from the Flybridge range, S78 (Sportbridge) and two Y78s (Motor Yachts). The two units of the Y78 were recently delivered to Thailand and Singapore, including one custom fitted with Technogym exercise equipment.
Vrit Yongsakul, Group Managing Director of Boat Lagoon Yachting, said: “Our high sales momentum is continuing, demonstrating the company’s strong presence in Southeast Asia and affirming the high demand of the leading British luxury yacht brand.
“The 78 remains a particularly popular size in Southeast Asia, with five units sold – three Y78s and two Y78s sold by Boat Lagoon Yachting. We’ve also sold many other models within the S Class and well over two-dozen in the Y Class range in the last few years.”
The company’s yachts for sale include the Y85, which premiered in 2019. Designed in collaboration with naval architects Olesinksi and Italian styling house Pininfarina, the model is the flagship of the Y Class range until the launch of the Y95.
The Y85 lying at Phuket Boat Lagoon has been customised for regional tastes, with a round dining table in the saloon, integrated Asian-European galley and bar feature, and a Jacuzzi spa bath on the flybridge.
“This Y85 allows owners to travel very comfortably throughout Southeast Asia. Our Asian owners particularly enjoy eating and socialising on board, often with a family across many generations, from children to grandparents. The round dining table is great for family gatherings or for corporate entertainment during business gatherings,” Vrit said.
“Particularly at this time, this boat provides a great place to base yourself if you’re working from ‘home’ and want to be in a beautiful environment. Families can really spend some quality time together in a very safe and comfortable environment, with a lot of things to do and many separate socialising areas.”
In addition, the company announced sales of eight pre-owned boats from January to July including a Princess 30M superyacht, which is the fourth M Class yacht in Southeast Asia and will be berthed in ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in Singapore.
“Boat Lagoon Yachting is Asia’s oldest Princess distributor, with the greatest experience and expertise in pre-owned and new Princess yachts,” Vrit said. “We’ve always been the first to personally invest in bringing the latest and newest Princess models such as the world premieres of the Princess S60 and P75, and Asia firsts for the F70, 75Y, 78Y, S78, 85Y, 88Y and 30M.
“Our clients can choose from our extensive fleet of brand-new yachts and preowned vessels that are in the region and available immediately. As Asia’s premier provider of a luxury yachting experience, Boat Lagoon Yachting also continuously invests in aftersales support and quality infrastructure to provide customers with service second to none.”
