Princess Yachts has revealed that the new S72 will appear at the Southampton International Boat Show (September 15-24) for the first time, having had its world premiere at Boot Dusseldorf in January.
The new S72 sportbridge model offers a sleek alternative to the highly successful Y72 from the Plymouth builder’s Y Class of large flybridge motor yachts. Equipped with twin 1,650hp or 1,800hp MAN V12 engines and a highly efficient resin-infused deep-V hull, the S72 can reach up to 38 knots.
The Princess display at stand number E055 in Mayflower Park will also include a second S Class model, the S62, along with the F65, F50 and F45 from its F Class of flybridge models, plus the V40 and V50 cruisers.
Simon Clare, Marketing Director of Princess Yachts, said: “We’re delighted to have such a strong line-up once again at the Southampton International Boat Show, especially the new S72 which will be making her show debut. We know this exciting addition to our S Class range will be a significant draw at the show for both our UK and international clients.”
