Prestige has announced a partnership with Swarovski, with the two brands working on a customised Prestige 690 designed to combine the French yacht builder’s emphasis on art de vivre with the high-end luxury expertise of the Austrian crystal specialist.
Myriam Batoni, Managing Director of Swarovski Crystal Business France-Benelux, added: “We are pleased to partner with Prestige for the launch of a customised yacht and bring a new crystal lifestyle experience on the sea.”
Erwin Bamps, Brand Director of Prestige, added: “It has been inspiring to work and delight our customers in a partnership with Swarovski, a brand that shares with Prestige the values of craftsmanship, purposeful innovation and the relevance of offering clients a sensorial experience.”
The customised Prestige 690 will feature Swarovski custom-crafted surfaces and inserts to elevate the interior, with the crystal elements reflecting the sunlight during the day and creating an elegant atmosphere in the evening.
Sparkling Crystal Compound elements, manufactured from a complex glass panel with integrated Swarovski crystals, have been tailor made for the yacht’s interiors and feature in both the main-deck saloon as well as the owner’s stateroom and en-suite bathroom on the lower deck.
Clemence Cessou, Prestige 690 Product Marketing Manager, said: “We worked on living areas of the yacht to offer a subtle and refined decoration to our owners. The larger surfaces combine panels embellished with Swarovski crystals with grey oak grooved wood and mirrors. This solution creates contrast and an alluring texture for a unique sensorial experience, delivering an ultimate modern home design at sea.”
Prestige, represented in selected Asian markets by Asia Yachting, produces motor yachts across its F-Line (420-690), S-Line (420S-590S) and X-Line (X60-X70), and will debut the M48 power catamaran from its new M-Line at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival from September 6-11.
