Monaco Yacht Show organisers are creating a new Adventure Area dedicated to adventure, exploration and leisure activities on board a superyacht. The themed exhibition will be introduced at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show from 1 as part of an ongoing revamp of the show.
The exhibition will span two sites at Port Hercule. Quai Antoine 1er will include an Adventure Area along with the existing Car Deck and Tenders & Toys exhibitions, featuring luxury vehicles, tenders and water toys in a single location. The other Adventure Area will feature about 20 tenders moored at Quai Jarlan, as in previous editions.
“This extended Adventure Area exhibition for all adventure and leisure activities reflects the show’s ambition to bring visitors the finest yachting experience,” MYS stated.
“Today, charter clients want to drive all-terrain vehicles to the North Pole, go on underwater excursions, take tender rides off the coast of secluded islands, enjoy tailor-made tours of historical and cultural sites in coastal destinations, discover animal species while respecting their ecosystems, and even take part in scientific field trips.”
The Adventure Area joins the Sustainability Hub and reformatted Yacht Design & Innovation Hub among new exhibition areas as part of the show’s goal to help redefine the yachting experience and appeal to a new superyacht charter clientele.
“This new generation challenges current yachting standards. It is revolutionising the concept of luxury with its epicurean vision and desire to freely discover new experiences, one that prevails over the need to own.”
