UAE builder Gulf Craft is completing hull one of its new Majesty 49, which will undergo sea trials before leaving the factory by the end of June. Ready for immediate delivery, the 47ft 9in model is available through Farfalla Marine, which represents Majesty Yachts and fellow Gulf Craft brands Nomad and Oryx in Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
The 49 is the new entry-level model in the Majesty range – which includes the new flagship 175 – but features different exterior styling to her predecessors and is easily recognisable due to her striking, angular lines.
The first hull comes equipped with full options including tropical-strength air-conditioning throughout, making it suitable for hot Asian climates. The yacht is fitted with twin 650hp Volvo Penta D6-IPS engines, although a wide range of options are offered on the model including four 400hp Mercury Verado outboards.
The outdoor spaces include a swim platform, aft cockpit and a foredeck with sunpads, although the flybridge is the standout exterior zone. Accessed from the cockpit by portside stairs, the flybridge features a wet bar in the aft port corner, an L-shaped sofa and an adjustable table, while forward is the upper helm and a roomy triple sunpad.
The interior layout starts with a large galley aft, while the saloon features a C-shaped sofa and a flexible table to port, facing more seating and an entertainment centre to starboard, aft of the helm station.
The model’s most impressive features include her guest accommodation, which comprises three cabins on the lower deck. The master suite is forward and features a walkaround double bed, large hull windows and an en-suite bathroom on the starboard side.
The two guest cabins span the yacht’s 14ft 5in beam midships, each with two sliding single beds and both sharing the day head with shower to port.
All new yachts delivered through Farfalla Marine include a 12-month management package, advanced crew training and AGlaze marine sealant protection as standard.
