ILIAD Catamarans is preparing to debut the 53F at the Sydney International Boat Show from August 3-6. The ILIAD 53F is the flybridge version of the 53S sedan-style model, which debuted at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in late May.
With twin 440hp engines, the 53F has a top speed of 21 knots (lightship) and a range well over 3,100nm at low speeds with a 3,500-litre fuel capacity. The CE A power catamaran has a beam of 25ft, a high freeboard and one of the highest bridgedeck clearances in its market segment, according to ILIAD.
Options include a tender platform, while the aft cockpit features a bar area and dining setting for up to 10 guests. The flybridge features a C-shaped sofa and a dining table to port, a bench-seat helm station and companion seating forward, plus a long wet bar along the starboard side.
The large interior living spaces include an expansive lounge forward, dining for up to eight people and optional lower helm. The galley includes an island bench, full-size refrigerator and freezer, well designed storage and European appliances.
Guest cabins are headed by the master suite, which occupies one hull and features an oversized island queen bed, panoramic windows and spacious en-suite bathroom.
ILIAD has forward orders stretching into 2024 and is finalising plans to open a new state-of-the-art shipyard to increase production across its range.
