IAqua lit up the water toy market at the 29th Dubai International Boat Show in Dubai Harbour with its new AquaDart Nano range. The high-performance watercraft manufacturer has developed some of the world’s most powerful, reliable dive scooters and the new Nano models, weighing just 22kg, offer a power-to-weight ratio unmatched by any competitor, yet are still capable of speeds over 20kmh.
The AquaDart Nano features iAqua’s patent-pending Dual-Jet™ propulsion system, which delivers up to 60 per cent more thrust than conventional marine jet-drive systems throughout the whole power range.
Conventional jet-drive systems can waste up to 50 per cent of the thrust generated via ‘tunnel turbulence,’ according to iAqua, but the Dual-Jet technology eliminates this issue, giving more power and thrust while consuming less battery power.

Models on display included the AquaDart Nano 450 Sport, AquaDart Nano 520 Explorer and the AquaDart Nano 620 Max – the three new models boasting the highest power-to weight ratios, and starting at just US$6,990.
Along with the new AquaDart Nano models, the best-selling AquaDart Pro models were on display at the five-day Dubai show. The AquaDart Pro 720 Max is available in several colour options and was on display alongside the all-carbon-fibre AquaDart Pro 770 Xtreme – the world’s fastest dive scooter. The AquaDart Pro 680 Light, popular with charter and rental operators, was also on show.
The iAqua team has 25 years of automotive design and manufacturing experience, and has worked in partnership with many of the world’s leading automotive brands including General Motors, Tesla, Audi, Volkswagen, Nissan, Lamborghini and Bentley.

“IAqua’s team of talented design engineers are focused on providing high-performance watercraft manufactured to the same rigorous standards of quality and reliability that you would see in a premium car,” iAqua stated.
“No other dive scooter manufacturer can match the AquaDart’s level of performance, reliability and modular design, which means any repairs and upgrades are a quick and simple local exercise, so no having to send your scooter away to remote service centres, often in other countries. Owners can have the utmost confidence in their new AquaDart dive scooter and many years of fun and enjoyment.”
