Gulf Craft staff bid farewell to the Majesty 175

Gulf Craft has delivered the Majesty 175 to her owner, having premiered the world’s largest composite production superyacht in Dubai in May. The 56.4m, 780GT superyacht “will visit global marinas and exotic destinations, underpinning Gulf Craft’s ‘Made in UAE’ capabilities prominently on the world yachting map”, the shipyard stated.

Mohammed Alshaali, co-founder and Chairman of Gulf Craft, said: “The Majesty 175 is our jewel superyacht, which demonstrates our capability to manufacture trailblazing vessels fully in-house here in the UAE.

“The innovative composite design and engineering of the Majesty 175 are a testament to our position as a pioneer in the global yachting industry. We have created an exceptional world-first vessel on our home soil which was four years in the making, despite the challenges of the pandemic. It is a very proud moment to see her leave our facilities and set off on voyages around the globe.”

The 56m flagship leaves the Umm Al Quwain facility

Italy’s Cristiano Gatto Design Studio handled the flagship’s exterior and interior design, while naval architecture is by Massimo Gregori of the Yankee Delta Studio. Fully manufactured at Gulf Craft’s production facility in Umm Al Quwain, Majesty 175 was built to specifications outlined by the UK’s Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) for yachts over 500GT.

The superyacht has seven lavish staterooms, a private captain’s cabin and six cabins for up to 10 crew. Highlights include a gym, 5m infinity pool with swim-jet system at the forward deck and a hybrid skylounge that can be converted to an open sun deck.

The Majesty 175 has a top speed of 16.5 knots, cruising speed of 10 knots and a transatlantic range of 4,000nm, while she can cruise low-draft areas as she draws just 2.05m of water. Safety features include a SOLAS rescue boat and an emergency generator.

The Majesty 175 will “set off on voyages around the globe”

Majesty is the flagship brand of Gulf Craft, which also produces Nomad explorer yachts, Oryx sports cruisers, Silvercraft featuring leisure and fishing boats, and Touring Passenger Vessels.

Farfalla Marine represents Gulf Craft brands in Hong Kong as well as Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
