Beneteau is planning to display seven yachts at this year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, which will be held on Australia’s Gold Coast from May 19-22. The French builder will show an Oceanis 40.1 sailing yacht along with a Swift Trawler 41 and five Antares motorboats: 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11.
Lagoon is also set to draw attention with its flagship Seventy 8 powercat as well as a Lagoon 46 sailing catamaran. The Seventy 8 is among Lagoon’s ‘Big Four’ models along with the Sixty 7 and the Sixty 5 and Seventy 7 sailing cats, which can all be heavily customised.
Meanwhile, the Excess 11 will have her Australian debut at the show after the Excess 12 had her Asia-Pacific premiere at Boating Rendezvous – Sydney in late 2020. The twin-helm Excess 11 is the entry model for a range that also includes the 12 and 15 models, while the 14 will be added this year.
The three brands’ display of 10 yachts is jointly arranged by Australian dealers Flagstaff Marine, Spirit Marine and The Multihull Group, and supported by Beneteau, Excess and Lagoon Asia Pacific.
