The Asia Yachting Boat Show was held at Hong Kong’s Club Marina Cove on the National Day-Chung Yeung Festival long weekend, with the regional dealer stating that more than 200 visitors attended the four-day event at the start of October.
Prestige, Monte Carlo Yachts, Fountaine Pajot and Nautique motor yachts, and ABJET premium jet tenders were on display. The in-water highlights were Prestige’s flagship X70 and an MCY 70 Skylounge by Monte Carlo Yachts, with both hulls the first of their models in Asia.
A Fountaine Pajot MY6 power catamaran was also on display at Marina Cove, while a Prestige 420 was popular among the guests looking for weekend trips and able to operate a boat with a Grade 2 licence.
A Nautique G25 Paragon was displayed on the hard stand area, as were an ABJET 290 and ABJET 380 in a separate area of the Sai Kung marina.
The early October event followed the dealer’s four-day showcase of the Fountaine Pajot MY6 power catamaran at Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club in early July and the nine-yacht, four-brand Asia Yachting Open Day weekend on a floating platform out at sea in the middle of Repulse Bay in late August.
