The first 44Alloy superyacht sold to Asia has been launched at the Sanlorenzo Superyacht Division in La Spezia and is the first of two hulls sold by Sanlorenzo Asia, a division of Simpson Marine. The second hull sold to Asia is due to launch within the next month and both are due to arrive in Asia by the end of the year.
The new 44Alloy is one of 12 Sanlorenzo yachts and superyachts scheduled to be delivered in Asia in 2020, marking a record year on the continent for the Italian shipyard.
Nick Stratton, Sanlorenzo Asia Sales Manager, said: “We are very proud to see this incredible yacht launched and it is exciting to follow the final stages of build and sea trials. The yacht is scheduled to arrive in Asia before the end of the year.
“The yacht has many unique features and I am certain that it will shake up the market here in Asia. The innovative spaces on board are simply incredible. This has been a record year for Sanlorenzo Asia.”
The first hull of the 470GT, 44.5m fast-displacement aluminium superyacht, which can reach 22 knots, is scheduled to premiere at the Genoa International Boat Show from October 1-6. Five hulls have already been sold, with the model succeeding the 40Alloy, which sold 10 units.
The Zuccon International Project studio led the 44Alloy’s exterior styling and interior design, having also worked on Sanlorenzo’s SX and relaunched SD line.
The yacht has sporty lines with cut-outs in the bulwarks to provide sea views from the main deck and sky lounge on the upper deck, while the spacious beach club opens on three sides, with a lateral tender garage featuring a 7m tender.
Sanlorenzo states that the 145sqm master suite offers “a solution of ultimate comfort never seen before on a yacht of this size”, with the owner’s area spanning three levels and having direct access to a private outdoor bow lounge area with pool.
