Ferretti Group will again be a star of the Venice Boat Show (May 29-June 6) as the Italian giant stages the world premiere of its new Ferretti Yachts 1000 along with 10 other models at the Arsenale in the iconic waterfront city.
The Ferretti Yachts 1000, the brand’s largest-ever yacht, features an exterior by Filippo Salvetti and an interior IdeaeItalia for the interior, with the unit on display showcasing the Classic mood option with soft, balanced colour tones and subtle contrasts.
As well as the 1000, Ferretti Yachts will also show its 500 model launched last year and a 670, a model launched in 2018 and the first with an exterior by Salvetti (followed by the 720, 500 and 1000).
The 11-strong display will also include the European premiere of the 43wallytender X, the outboard version of Wally’s innovative 13m tender, which was first shown publicly at the Palm Beach International Boat Show in Florida in March.
A Riva 90’ Argo, a model unveiled in 2019 and already with multiple sales in Hong Kong, is joined by a Rivamare (39ft) and a Dolceriva (49ft), while a Pershing 8X (84ft) and 9X (92ft), and an Itama 62S round out the line-up.
Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group’s CEO, said: “This is where the fun starts again, in a unique setting. We have always been firm believers in this boat show because we think that presenting the art of building yachts in this city of art and beauty is both a privilege and an opportunity that only Venice can offer.
“Venice has a place in our heart but is also a key strategic location and the most important showcase for what I call the Eastern Mediterranean. For Ferretti Group, 2021 got off to a record start and the Venice Boat Show, which puts our country centre stage in the international yachting world, will give the Italian yacht industry another important boost.”
