Ferretti Group has installed Custom Line and Riva exhibitions in the Skyway Monte Bianco cable car attraction in northern Italy that links stations at Courmayeur (1,300m), Pavillon (2,173m) and Pointe Helbronner (3,466m) on the southern side of the Mont Blanc massif range.
“The goal of the initiative is to offer visitors to the mountain a memorable experience in the world of yachting,” Ferretti Group stated.
For the second year, Custom Line’s yacht-building art is on show at the Jaguar Land Rover Lounge at Chalet de l’Ange in Courmayeur. The installation features models of Custom Line yachts and tells the story of the superyacht brand’s bond with contemporary yacht design.
The display includes a scale model, painting and evocative video of the Navetta 30, whose first unit has been sold to Hong Kong. Custom Line’s new entry model features the brand’s first collaborations with Filippo Salvetti (exterior styling) and architecture and design firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (interiors).
The Custom Line exhibit is also joined by the collection of Riva Brand Experience products, from home decor design objects and clothing to high-tech accessories and mahogany toys.
For the first time, the Jaguar Land Rover Lounge is hosting a Riva display, focused on the Riva in the Movie book and short film. The exhibit captures the brand’s historic role in cinema through memorable images, highlighting the many films in which Riva yachts have played a role alongside movie stars from around the world.
The Riva experience continues up at Pavillon, where ‘The Mountain’ station offers a breathtaking venue. The Cinema delle Alpi is showing the Riva in the Movie short film starring Pierfrancesco Favino, while all the images in the exhibition have a QR code that visitors can scan to see a clip of the film.
Visitors travelling to the top of the ride can find the Riva in the Movie book on sale at Europe’s highest bookshop, Feltrinelli In Quota, in ‘The Sky’ station at Punta Helbronner. The publication contains hundreds of on-set and backstage photographs, original posters and anecdotes that interweave the history of cinema with the world of yachting from the 1950s to the present day.
“It is a wonderful location, permeated by luxury, elegance, style and innovation, in which to enjoy the fascination of the sea against the splendid backdrop of the Western Alps,” Ferretti Group stated. “There could be no better place for a journey to discover the beauty of Riva and its legendary story.”
Entry to venues is regulated in compliance with the measures introduced by the Italian government on containing and managing the COVID-19 epidemic.
