Simpson Marine has sold a Fairline Targa 45 GT into Shanghai, China, where the boat is set to arrive in July. The model had its world premiere at Boot Dusseldorf last year and complements the Targa 45 Open, both acting as entry-level models to the British builder’s cruiser range.
Starting aft, the yacht has an aft-facing double sunpad, which can be raised to open a garage that can house a Williams Minijet 280 or can be used for storage. The foredeck also has a double sunpad.
The cockpit has a three-sided sofa to port with an adjustable table, while there’s a wet bar to starboard. There are sliding doors to starboard, while to port an opening window can be raised upwards under the hardtop to complete the indoor-outdoor space.
The hardtop has an electric canvas roof that can open for ventilation and views. The saloon has a C-shaped sofa and table on an elevated platform to port, while on starboard side is an entertainment centre with storage and a twin-seat helm station.
The lower deck offers two or three cabins. With the galley to port, the two-cabin version features a lower lounge with an L-shaped sofa and table to starboard.
The full-beam, en-suite master cabin midships has the bed set to starboard and facing the port window, while the VIP cabin in the bow has scissor berths and access to the day head.
