Fairline will host the world premieres of the all-new Phantom 65 and the new version of the flagship Squadron 68 at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, which will be held from September 6-11. The two new models will be shown alongside an F//Line 33, Targa 45 Open and a Targa 50 GT.

The Phantom 65 is Fairline’s first sportbridge yacht and the exterior is based on the technical platform of the Targa 65, featuring sleek lines and large hull windows teamed with a glazed sunroof to bathe the interior with natural light.

It offers an array of alfresco dining, entertaining and lounging spaces, and has a tender garage suitable for a Williams 345 SportJet. Twin Caterpillar C18-1150 engines provide 31-knot performance, while the optional V12 Caterpillar C32-1622s deliver over 35 knots.

The upgraded Squadron 68 will showcase a subtly revised exterior, new hardtop and fresh interior layout and design. The revised exterior has updated hull windows in line with other Fairline models, as well as a sleek hardtop with fabric sliding sunroof and integrated electric sunshade aft.

Inside, the main deck has a new galley design that increases workspace and fridge/freezer capacity, and also incorporates a sociable bar that extends into the cockpit. The new design also comes with the option of a tri-fold patio door and lower-helm side access door.

The interior layout has been refreshed and the lower deck is available in either three or four cabins. As with the Phantom 65, the master cabin has a king-sized bed, bureau with stool and drawer storage to starboard, and a large port side sofa. The guest cabin has more width than the previous model, with an electric bed option to convert the twin berths into a double, as does the Phantom 65.

Paul Grys, CEO of Fairline Yachts, said: “We’re delighted to be making two world debuts at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival. Having taken onboard feedback from customers to further improve the Squadron 68, we’re confident buyers will fall in love with it as much as we have.

“New and exciting products breed growth in this market and the response we’ve received for our latest models is incredible. The investment made in new products underpins our future growth and we’ve got an exciting period ahead of us. We’re really looking forward to hearing what visitors to the stand think when they see them in person.”
Regional dealer Simpson Marine has already imported a unit of the new Squadron 68 to Thailand.
