Damen Yachting has launched Amels 6003, the third Amels 60, at its yard in Vlissingen in the southwest of the Netherlands. The 197ft, 830GT superyacht will now undergo outfitting in preparation for her completion.

Joppe Osté, Project Manager at Damen Yachting, said: “It’s a proud moment to see the yacht launched successfully today. She looks stunning in the winter sunshine, a true testament to all who have worked so hard towards this moment. I know I speak for the whole team when I say how much we are looking forward to the next few months as we work on taking the build through its final phases.”

Amels 60 features distinctive, elegant lines from Espen Øino and naval architecture by Damen Yachting, while hull three features an interior by Winch Design.

Technology includes hybrid power and propulsion technology for both sustainable performance and improved comfort on board. Features include a spacious sun deck and swim platform, a folding owner’s suite balcony, and space to host a 9m luxury tender on the foredeck.
