The first Custom Line 106’ sold in Asia will be delivered in Italy in the summer of 2022 and then move to Asia-Pacific at the end of the year. The yacht was sold by Ferretti Group and Fraser Asia. Fraser has been appointed by the owner to represent the client through the build of the 107ft 8in (32.8m) planing yacht.
The unit for Asia will be equipped with the new Selective Catalytic Reductions (SCR) units, which are designed to reduce NOx emissions by up to 80 per cent in compliance with the new International Maritime Organization (IMO) Tier III standards.
Launched in 2019, the Custom Line 106’ is a product of the partnership between Francesco Paszkowski Design, the Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department and its Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari.
Equipped with twin 2,217mhp MTU 16V 2000 M86 engines, the yacht can reach 23 knots and has a cruising speed of 20 knots. The standard electro-hydraulic stabilising fins offer both underway and zero-speed modes, while optional gyroscopic stabilisers increase comfort at anchor.
The model has a beam of almost 24ft and offers 2,370sqft (220sqm) of exterior flooring. Accessed from the flybridge, the forward area is divided into three spaces including a large C-shaped sofa with reclining backrests, two coffee tables and two sun pads.
Further forward are two more sun pads and a working area in the bow. In keeping with Custom Line tradition, this area includes an additional bow garage for a Williams Minijet 280 or three-seater jetski.
The 570sqft (53sqm) flybridge is protected by two large side windows and is entirely furnished with free-standing furniture of the owner’s choice, while the stern features the patented Dual Mode Transom (DMT) system. In the interior, the saloon has full-length deck windows. The standard layout includes a master suite forward on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck.
